DAEMON

It's 2am. Your friend is online. He wants you to print something.

DAEMON is a first-person psychological horror game about a 3D printer, a friend who won't stop messaging you, and an operating system that's a little too honest about what it sees.

You'll spend most of the game sitting at a desk — checking messages, sending files, waiting for a print to finish. It's quiet. It's mundane. That's the point.

FEATURES

  • A fully simulated in-game OS: a real file explorer that reads files off disk, a chat client, a mail client, a terminal, all rendered in crisp Windows 95 style
  • A working 3D printer with its own physics and sound design, sitting in a world rendered in gritty PSX-era visuals
  • A story told almost entirely through what your "friend" says to you, and what he doesn't
  • No combat, no inventory, no health bar. Just a chair, a desk, and something that used to be a person

Made solo for Hack Club Stardance.
